Miriam Okafor
Discretionary portfolios built to be forgotten about, on purpose.
Miriam manages money for families who have already made it, which she considers a different profession from making it. She joined in 2009, an instructive year to begin. Her portfolios turn over rarely, report plainly, and are constructed so that the third generation inherits positions, not surprises. She reads annual reports the way other people read novels, keeps a standing list of businesses she would own at the right price, and has waited as long as nine years for the price. Trained at Cambridge in mathematics; recovered fully.
