Desmond Achebe-Hall

Desmond advises families on the part of wealth that is not money: who decides, who signs, and what happens when they cannot. A barrister before he was a banker, he joined in 2007 and has since sat, quietly, in the corner of more family meetings than he will count. He does not draft documents; he makes sure the documents the family’s counsel drafts are the ones the bank can actually execute at three in the morning. His rule for a governance arrangement is that a grandchild should be able to explain it.
